The Visiting Authors program supports assemblies and book signings from accomplished children’s authors. The authors provide dynamic assemblies where they present their most recent works, answer questions, tell tales, and frequently give drawing sessions. Students have the option to purchase signed books by the visiting author.

Lights, Camera, Action!
We are excited to announce that WES Movie Night will be Tuesday September 29th! This year we will head to the “theatre” at Arasapha Farms and celebrate together with a drive-in movie. Stay tuned to future WES mail for more details in the coming weeks.
The Dimensions in Science program introduces students to a variety of scientific disciplines through programs involving such activities as school assemblies, demonstrations, and hands-on classroom experiences.
5th GRADE GRADUATION
A special moving up ceremony for fifth graders.
WES PTO is pleased to offer its Foreign Language Club for students in grades 1-5. The WES Foreign Language Club is an extra-curricular, before-school program designed to open students’ minds to new languages and new ways of thinking. Students experience language hand-in-hand with lessons about history, holidays, and even day-to-day life in a culture different than our own.
The Dimensions in Math program introduces students to a wide variety of math related experiences involving such activities as Family Math Night (bi-annual,) demonstrations, and hands-on classroom experiences.
Dimensions in Math helps organize the Hour of Code. Every student at WES, from Kindergarten through 5th grade, has the opportunity to spend an hour experimenting and learning computer programming.
Come out for some ghoulish fun with Halloween games & activities, cake walk contests, crafts, face-painting, and raffle baskets too!
WES students participate in a school-wide community service project each year.
