WES Student Directory Artwork
The WES Student Directory Committee is now accepting student artwork to be featured in the 2022-2023 WES Student Directory, incorporating next year's theme - Be Courageous! The Student Directory includes a collection of student artwork throughout the pages, with a submission by a rising 5th grader selected for the cover.
For more details, and to complete a submission, please see and print the form here. Artwork can be dropped off in the office at WES, or submitted to email@example.com by August 26th. We're looking forward to seeing and sharing all of the wonderful student artwork!
Families are welcome and encouraged to visit the WES Little Library during the summer! Stop by our Little Library at the front of WES to drop books off and pick up new ones to read.
To encourage your child to continue reading this summer, the WES Summer Reading page shares some reading activities, including a Summer Reading Challenge and Summer Reading Bingo.
Information about the Helen Kate Furness Library Summer Quest and Read with Rita's Reading Log programs can be found here.
Rising 6th Grade Families can find the SHMS 6th Grade Summer Reading Packet here for details about this required assignment.
Happy Summer Reading WES!

The WES PTO is now collecting advertisements for the upcoming 2022-2023 WES Student Directory. Each tax-deductible advertisement helps to cover the cost of publication while also promoting your business throughout the WES community. Your support also allows the WES PTO to directly support wonderful programs and educational opportunities for our students and teachers! The Student Directory provides class lists, contact information for WES families, and general school and district information including schedules for specials and a calendar of events. The Student Directory also highlights a collection of artwork submitted by students.
We would love your support, as well as to provide a place for local businesses to reach many of our families. We sincerely appreciate our returning sponsors for their past participation and renewed support, and thank you for your consideration!
