The We Love WES Spring Fundraiser is launching this month. You should receive your letter in the mail! 

 

This Spring, our goal is to beautify and landscape both the Atrium and the Garden.  The Atrium is the centrally located space within the building where teachers take their students for fresh air and sunshine during the day to enjoy listening to stories or working in small groups.  The Garden is adjacent to the library and requires significant improvement to make it a place where teachers can easily access the outdoors for lessons in nature such as growing fruits and vegetables, pollination processes, studying soils and life cycles. 

 

Providing these upgrades to our campus will allow creativity to flourish and encourage more educational opportunities in outdoor play and exploration.  The project also prioritizes the need to simplify long-term maintenance; we’re committed to making these spaces easy to maintain to minimize future landscaping time and funding.  Our vision is sustainable spaces that enrich students’ experiences for years to come and our fundraising goal is $13,000 for materials and installation in both areas.
