As you all know, WES is a place where our children learn and grow every day through amazing and unique experiences. Many of these opportunities are possible because of your support of the PTO each year.

 

Some highlights from this school year include: 

* Artist in Residence project with Amberella and her "power hearts" 

* 3 Visiting Authors 

* School-wide spirit t-shirts 

* Recess equipment 

* International Night performance by Philadelphia Kathak Dance Collective 

* Flexible seating for classrooms 

* Logic games & puzzles for classrooms 

* STEM activities for classrooms 

* Supplemental funds for field trips 

* Science Assembly (coming up!)

Our goal is to continue to offer and enhance these wonderful programs as well as provide financial support as new needs arise around our school. We routinely listen to students, teachers and families' feedback to gain insight and new ideas on what would further enrich the experience at WES, and we strive to support consistent annual improvements. We couldn't do this without you!

Several years ago, the PTO moved from paper and product-based fundraisers to an annual direct appeal of our generous families. That means less work for you and your children (no selling!), less waste and 100% of your gift goes directly to WES. 

​

All contributions are meaningful and will make a big impact! Please donate by Friday, May 31st with checks made payable to "WES PTO" using the enclosed envelope or online via PayPal at weskidspto.com. This year our fundraising goal is $7,500. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
